The easier, faster, more affordable way to order multiple artwork versions on one product.
What are versions?
Versions are multiple designs or artworks of the same product. For example, if you need 50 leaflets that are all the same size and specification, but you have 5 different topics for content, you can place one order with a quantity of 10, and select 5 versions. (You'll then have the 5 different leaflet designs, 10 of each, totaling your 50 leaflets if you click confirm to the side of the quantity box).
Using the versions function means that you can still benefit from the lower unit costs which we offer when you purchase at higher quantities.
How do I order versions?
Step 1 - Choose your product specifications
Step 2 - Choose the full quantity of the product and underneath where it asks "do you want to print more than one design" - click "yes" then enter number of versions you need i.e. 3 versions of 50. The quantity of each version must be the same i.e. 50 of 3 versions the total would be 150. You can not have different quantities for different versions.
Step 3 - Upload your artwork file containing all versions.
How do I set up my artwork?
Your artwork can be uploaded as separate PDF's for each version, or as a multi-page PDF with your pages and versions in running order.
If your print is double-sided, each version must have a back page - even if it's the same on both sides. For example, if you were ordering 3 versions, your PDF would be set up in the following order:
- Version 1 front page
- Version 1 back page
- Version 2 front page
- Version 2 back page
- Version 3 front page
- Version 3 back page
Our system doesn't the read file names, so simply remember the front, back, front, back sequence!

Top tip: If you simply need one design/artwork on the front and one on the back for all of the product, then click "no", where it asks "do you want to print more than one design". We know you might have a front and back artwork but as long as print both sides is selected, it's not classed as multiple versions.
How do I print different designs on each side?
For double-sided printing with different designs on each side, select “no“ version. Upload both designs in the correct order within your file.
For mixed orientations, ensure both sides are set up to the same finished dimensions and include at least 3 mm bleed on all edges.
How do I order multiple designs or cards with different quantities?
Each version must have the same quantity per version. Versions cannot have different quantities for different designs or cards.
If you need truly different quantities for each design, these must be ordered as different jobs but you can fit multiple jobs in a basket and ship to different addresses.
How do I print the same artwork on both sides of a leaflet?
To print the same artwork on both sides of your leaflet, upload the same design file for both the front and back during the order setup. Make sure you select the double-sided printing option.
