For most weddings, you should mail your Save the Dates 6 to 8 months before your wedding date. However, if you are planning a destination wedding or getting married on a major holiday weekend (like Labor Day or New Year's Eve), aim for 9 to 12 months in advance to ensure guests can secure travel and accommodations.

What is the difference between an Invitation and a "Suite"?

Typically, Wedding Invitation suite refers to the entire coordinated package sent to guests. This typically includes the main Invitation, an RSVP Card with a stamped envelope, and a "Details" card (covering hotel blocks, your wedding website, and dress code) which can also be printed through our Wedding Invitations product. Ordering a suite ensures a cohesive brand for your wedding from the moment guests open the envelope.

Do I need separate Invitations for my Bridal Shower or Rehearsal Dinner?

Yes. Since these events usually have different guest lists than the main ceremony, they require their own stationery. Bridal Shower invites are typically sent 4 to 6 weeks before the shower, while Rehearsal Dinner invitations are often sent at the same time as the Wedding Invitation or shortly after. When you print through our Wedding Invitations product your artwork is completely customizable, so creating invitations for Rehearsal Dinners, Bridal Showers and more is easy!

Should I include my registry information on my Wedding Invitations?

Standard wedding etiquette suggests you should not print registry information directly on your formal Wedding Invitation. Instead, include your wedding website URL on a separate "Details" or "Information" card. Your guests can then visit your site to find registry links, travel info, and your wedding weekend itinerary.

How do "Will You Be My..." cards work?

Bridesmaid and Groomsman "proposal" cards have become a huge tradition. These are sent shortly after the engagement to formally ask your closest friends to be part of your wedding party.
