Five more ways to get creative with Instagram prints

Last month we wrote a blog post on all the cool, inventive things you can do with your beloved Instagram pictures. From wall collages to invitations, we inspired you to make the most of your photo memories.  You guys have been going Instagram crazy, so we thought we’d give you a few more ideas for those addictive, must-have instagram prints.

Hang tags with a difference
Give Christmas gifts which have a touch of nostalgia attached and make your own hang tags. You can order your Instagram pictures as Polaroid snaps, then trim and hole punch them yourself, or order stickers and place them over the front of plain labels. Christmas isn’t about winning at gift giving…but really it is.

Instagram clock
Yes, Instagram prints can even become a clock, that’s how truly versatile they are. Using a plain clock face, just trim your prints into any shape you like and surround the hands with a combination of prints and numbers — telling the time has never been such a hoot!

Map your memories
For the proud globe-trotter, there’s the Instagram map. Map out where you’ve been, highlighting key points of your journey with the pictures you took there. It’s sappy, it’s sentimental and we love the heck outta it! This is especially great for those travelling on a gap year or travelling on honeymoon as it gives an intimate snapshot (pun intended) of the journey and the memories.

DIY photo blocks
For those with a real arty streak and a home that cries out to be filled with individual, personal knick-nacks, there’s the DIY photo block. Just print up your Instagram photos as stickers, and stick them to wooden off-cuts. To finish, add a lick of paint to give a nice, professional finish. This is creativity you can’t buy in Ikea.

Homemade photo strips
Harking back to the retro photo days of old is the homemade Instagram photo strip. Use your Instagram stickers to create a photo strip, old skool-style by attaching them to a strip of cardboard. Take this to new authentic heights by styling your cardboard base to mimic a strip of old film.
