Paper stock update

We wanted to give our customers an update on supply chain challenges, as we feel it is important to be upfront and transparent about these issues.

Whilst the team are working very hard behind the scenes, we have unfortunately had to remove a very small number of Envelope stocks temporarily from our site.

Below is a list of Envelope stock items that are currently unavailable. Next to each we’ve handpicked some of our favourite alternatives that we hope you love just as much as we do:

Recycled A6 Envelopes

  • Best alternative: Acquerello.

Virtually chlorine-free, shimmery Acquerello paper is FSC certified and produced using environmentally friendly ECF pulp. Great as a green print choice.

Cream A5 Envelopes

  • Best alternative: Acquerello.

With a rich cream colour and fine lines impressed on both side, Acquerello evokes an old world warmth that’s a popular choice for retro and elegant styles. Great for anything that needs a dash of textured luxury!

Nettuno A6 Envelopes

  • Best alternative: Tintoretto Gesso

With a warm off-white hue, the hammered texture of fine Italian Tintoretto Gesso brings a layer of prestige to your print. This paper stock is uncoated for a touchable finish, and printed inks are absorbed into the surface.

Kraft 148 x 148 Envelopes

  • Best alternative: No current alternative available.

148 x 148mm and A6 Compostable Cellophane bags

  • No current alternative available. To check out other sizing options for Compostable Cellophane click here

Other alternatives

To help minimise the effect on our customers at this time, we have stocked up on a number of our other popular papers to keep things moving! These include:

  • Silk
  • Gloss
  • Uncoated
  • Recycled Uncoated
  • Trucard

As we are sourcing these papers from new suppliers, it may mean that there will be slight changes to the usual finish, but please be assured that we carefully select these alternatives to make sure they reflect the quality you would expect from us.

If you want to explore these alternative paper options in more detail you can find out more on our dedicated blog here.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and as always our helpful Customer Service team are on hand to answer your queries. Just get in touch by Live Chat, phone or email and we’ll be happy to help.
