To help narrow down your Etsy search, we recommend navigating to the ‘Item Format’ filter, then selecting ‘Digital downloads only’. This will save you having to scroll through the wrong types of listings. 

When browsing, keep in mind what sort of file you are looking for. Do you want something you can have personalised, or a ready-to-print piece? Do you need a particular size? 

Check what type of file is being offered – remember, PDF is the best type of file for printing. 

Once you’ve found your chosen print and made the purchase, you’ll usually receive the file via email, or you can access it via your Etsy account under ‘Purchases’.

Setting up your file for print

Once your transaction is confirmed and you’ve received your file, the next step is ensuring it’s properly set up for printing.

On most of our product pages, you’ll find free downloadable templates to help set up your artwork correctly. They contain lots of handy information, but here are some of the key things you need to do before sending to print:

• Check our Bleed and Safe Area requirements to ensure your full design is safely printed.
• Add Crop Marks to avoid any unintended white edges when printing right to the edge of the paper.
• Ensure the colour mode is set to CMYK for accurate colour reproduction.
