Paper options

Silk, Gloss, Uncoated or Tintoretto Gesso
in 250 to 350gsm

Silk card Silk coated paper has a low surface sheen and luxurious feel. It offers excellent ink to paper contrast, and printed colours appear bright and defined. The overall look is more low-key than gloss coated paper.

Gloss card Gloss coated paper has a high surface shine and very smooth finish. Printed colours 'pop up' and appear extra vibrant, making it a favourite choice for promotional items. Ink dries well on gloss paper, so you're unlikely to need lamination.

Uncoated card Our uncoated paper has a soft finish and tactile quality. Because it's more absorbent than coated paper, printed inks appear flatter. It's the best choice for stationery as it's easy to write on.

Tintoretto Gesso A classy, textured paper for when you want to go luxe. Its pleasing 'rough-but-refined' surface demands to be touched. It's perfect for wedding invitations and other occasions when only the best will do.

Finishes explained - Matt lamination gives a soft slightly dull finish, giving a sophisticated, modern look. Gloss lamination gives a high gloss finish that is not achieved with a gloss card. A lamination is recommended on solid colours or images for vibrancy (and protection!).

Papers - We only offer professional-grade papers that meet the high standards of our customers. Working with the UK's leading paper mills and distributors, we select the latest durable, high quality papers with the right environment credentials.

Packaging - All orders are carefully packed in plain, unbranded white packaging, so you can send products direct to clients. We pack using shrink wrap where it's needed, for protection during transit.

Job tracking - You can see where your order is in real time by checking 'My Account'. The job status screen clearly shows whether it's in the print queue, being printed, or on its way to you. Our postcards are perfect for high-impact promotions and irresistible invitations. Personalised postcards are also a great platform for showing off your product range or portfolio. We print postcards using the latest technology for true offset quality on luxurious papers including silk, gloss, uncoated and Tintoretto Gesso.

We recommend a heavy, 350gsm silk stock, for your postcards, with lamination (matt or gloss) if they're going through the postal system. You can add envelopes in white, red, black, silver or gold to your order. We offer a range of sizes outside the standard A6.

Use our easy online ordering process for your postcard printing and you can specify the size, paper and finish you want in minutes. We offer sizes A7, A6, DL, A5 and 148mm x 148mm full-colour postcards, printed on one side or both. Next, choose from our professional-grade papers. Uncoated paper has absorbent properties, so printed inks appear flatter, and it's the one to pick if you want your postcards to be really easy to write on. Silk coated paper has a low surface sheen and the colours on your printed postcards will appear bright and defined. Select gloss paper for a high shine that makes your colour postcards extra vibrant. We can also print postcards on luxurious, textured Tintoretto Gesso paper, which is perfect for wedding invites.

Our postcards come in four paper weight options, from 250gsm to extra thick 350gsm card. Gloss or matt lamination one one side or both will enhance the colour and of your postcard and make it more durable. We recommend it if you are planning to send your card through the postal system. If you want your postcards with envelopes, choose from plain white ones at 5p each, red or black at 10p each, or shiny silver or gold for 15p each. We also now offer 3 new envelopes, white laid and ivory laid at 7p each and shimmery cream pearl at 10p each.

Once you have checked all your selections are correct, just upload your artwork and leave the rest to us. If you need any help with your order, you can call on our UK-based customer services team. Our standard turnaround is two days, and we have a 24-hour express service. Remember that lamination adds 24 hours to your order.
