Paper options
Silk, Gloss and Uncoated
in 120 to 350gsm
Silk Silk coated paper has a low surface sheen and luxurious feel. It offers excellent ink to paper contrast, and printed colours appear bright and defined. The overall look is more low-key than gloss coated paper.
Gloss Gloss coated paper has a high surface shine and very smooth finish. Printed colours 'pop up' and appear extra vibrant, making it a favourite choice for promotional items. Ink dries well on gloss paper, so you're unlikely to need lamination.
Uncoated Our uncoated paper has a soft finish and tactile quality. Because it's more absorbent than coated paper, printed inks appear flatter. It's the best choice for stationery as it's easy to write on.
Wiro binding Pages are gathered together, holes punched, and a metal wire spine is inserted and clenched. The pages can lie flat without being held so it's good for manuals. It's suitable for documents with 4 to 160 pages.
Finishes explained - Matt lamination gives a soft slightly dull finish, giving a sophisticated, modern look. Gloss lamination gives a high gloss finish that is not achieved with a gloss card. A lamination is recommended on solid colours or images for vibrancy (and protection!).
Papers - We only offer professional-grade papers that meet the high standards of our customers. Working with the UK's leading paper mills and distributors, we select the latest durable, high quality papers with the right environment credentials.
2 to 4 working day turnaround
Packaging - All orders are carefully packed in plain, unbranded white packaging, so you can send products direct to clients. We pack using shrink wrap where it's needed, for protection during transit.
Express exceptions
Express is not available on Wiro bound documents.
Job tracking - You can see where your order is in real time by checking 'My Account'. The job status screen clearly shows whether it's in the print queue, being printed, or on its way to you. After it has been shipped, you can track your order's exact location in the tracking tab. No more pacing the corridors!

Wiro bound documents
With wiro binding, pages move freely around a spiral spine, meaning that documents can lie flat without being held open, so it's ideal for manuals. Wiro binding is also a great choice for annual reports and presentation documents. printed.com uses the latest digital technology to deliver professional-quality documents that are crisp, clear and colour accurate.
Choose binding on the top or left hand side and select high-quality paper from a diverse range with a choice of finishes. The most popular wiro bound document is A4 portrait, 250gsm silk with a single-sided matt laminated cover. If you have over 20 pages, these should be lighter stock than the cover to ensure they sit flush.

Our online brochure printing gives you the option to laminate the cover of your corporate brochure, for durability and added colour vibrancy. Choose from single or double-sided lamination in gloss or matt finish, or opt for no lamination.

Choose from uncoated, silk and gloss, in 11 weights from 120gsm up to 350gsm. Lamination for your text pages is available in double-sided matt or gloss finish. You can have the covers and the inner text pages of your wiro bound brochure printed on one side or both. The pages of your high-quality brochure will be bound together with a spiral metal spine inserted through holes punched in the pages.
