The kind of paper you choose for your print will determine how the colours and text look, and will affect
the overall style of your design. If you’d like more information on your choice, check out our paper
Silk Silk coated paper has a low surface sheen and luxurious feel. It offers excellent ink to paper contrast, and printed colours appear bright and defined.
Gloss Gloss coated paper has a high surface shine and a very smooth finish. Printed colours 'pop up' and appear extra vibrant, making it a favourite choice for promotional items. Ink dries well on gloss paper, so you're unlikely to need lamination.
Uncoated Our uncoated paper has a soft finish and tactile quality. Because it's more absorbent than coated paper, printed inks appear flatter. It's the best choice for stationery as it's easy to write on.
Recycled Our recycled paper has an uncoated, course texture and slightly flecked appearance. This paper is more absorbent than coated varieties, so finished print appears flatter for a more modern feel to colours and designs.
TruCard A specialist greeting card material that is coated and scratchproof on the outside and uncoated inside so it's easy to write on. We use heavy 300gsm card for high-quality greeting cards that last.
Gesso The 'hammered' texture of Tintoretto is strangely satisfying to touch. A fine Italian paper that's perfect for bringing prestige to any print.
Laid A deluxe, tactile paper with a fine-lined texture on both sides. Laid paper is bright white and specially treated for impeccable results with our digital presses.
Nettuno Crisp and clean, yet soft and inviting, with fine-lined markings. The last word in understated elegance, with lines more refined and condensed than our Laid paper.
Acquerello This delectable laid paper in rich cream gives a luxurious, old-world look that loves retro artwork. Soft to touch, with fine lines impressed on both sides.
Kraft Kraft is an earthy, latte-coloured paper that transforms designs with a vintage edge. It has an uncoated, smooth surface with a natural textured appearance.
Pearl Polar A soft, white pearlescent paper, that glistens like a snowy winter morning. Its subtle glow enlivens deluxe cards without fighting for attention with printed artwork.
Pearl Oyster Summoning the natural lustre and warm tones of freshwater pearls, this beautiful shimmering paper turns up the wow factor on wedding stationery and menus.
Lux Lux is an ultra-thick, triple layered card with a signature coloured core running through the centre layer. The surface comes uncoated so that you can experience the true texture of the paper.
