Thursday, 12th, February 2015: online print destination, printed.com, have decreased the turnaround time for larger orders in an effort to improve the speed of service, regardless of order size.
The launch of new, product-based turnaround times will enable printed.com to print, finish and dispatch orders containing multiple basket items much more efficiently than before. Where a standard order of business cards, leaflets and saddle stitched brochures may previously have taken up to seven days to be dispatched, it can now be completed in as little as two.
By rejecting the sheet-based system they used previously, the company has stated that orders will never take more than four days maximum to be dispatched; however, this does not include specialist products from the Photography Collection and those with personalisation and finishes like lamination.
printed.com state that they have made the change as part of their bid to increase ease of ordering and flexibility of service for their customers. and follows changes to delivery options late last year.
printed.com Product Director, Paul, says: “We are constantly looking at ways to improve the service we give to our customers. Recent efficiency improvements within our print facility mean we can significantly improve turnaround for large print orders.”
