Spread the Word: we now accept more file types!

We’ve been listening to you, our customers, and it seems that converting your artwork to PDF format was proving to be a bit of a thorny issue. It was throwing up lots of questions, and causing a bit of head scratching.

So, as part of our mission to make printing all your lovely designs as easy as falling off a log, we’re proud to introduce our latest super-cool site improvement: our multiple file type uploader! This means you can upload your artwork in any of these six formats: .pdf, .doc and .docx (Microsoft Word), .ppt and .pptx (Microsoft PowerPoint) and .rft (Rich Text Format).

So, if you’ve got a wonderful Word document, killer PowerPoint presentation, or really good Rich Text file you can just load them up and send them through – we’ll do the rest. It’s all part of the service that we hope makes us the easiest-to-use online printing company around.

Here to help

Please remember, you still need to send us your artwork in the correct size. So if you want an A5 leaflet, your artwork needs to be A5. Our online order wizard takes you through the ordering process in minutes and there’s helpful info about all your options on the website. If there’s anything you’d like to ask us about, our Customer Service team is on hand to answer your calls and emails from 8.30am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Ideas board

We got the idea for the multiple file type uploader straight from the ideas board. It’s a page where you can post suggestions that help us keep improving printed.com. We love hearing your points of view, and have brought in lots of new features after you said you’d like to see them, including:

  • Our Luxury Papers range
  • A5 folders
  • Option to upload more than one version of artwork per order for postcards, business cards and lots more large format products!
  • Images of paper options
  • Sticker and folded leaflet templates

With your help, we can to make printed.com everything you want from a digital printer. So bring us your documents and presentations, and see how easy it is to turn your digital file into print perfection on paper – whether it’s a PDF or not!

That's right, and if you have any ideas of your own you should post them onto the Ideas Board in 'My Account'. You never know, that could be the next change to printed.com.
