Prices become more competitive at printed.com

Thursday, 12th, September 2014: online print destination, printed.com, have lowered prices on high volume print orders by utilising lithographic presses instead of remaining exclusively digital.

Historically, the company has not been able to offer customers lower prices on large quantities of print due to their digital presses and focus on shorter print runs. By keeping a constant dialogue open with customers, printed.com identified the utilisation of litho presses as being essential in improving their pricing as well as their product offering. In lieu of this, larger quantities will now be available on folded leaflets, stationery, saddle stitched brochures, leaflets and flyers, and postcards at a much lower price to accommodate the high demand.

printed.com Product Manager, Paul says: “In order to meet our diverse range of customers’ needs, it became apparent that we needed to invest in offset litho technology. This allows us to be cost competitive on longer print runs for some of our best-selling products, it also opens us up to a new range of products and options now we have a larger sheet size to work with.”

Customers shopping at printed.com will be able to purchase more affordable larger print runs on selected products from Thursday, 12th September.

Amazing, always use printed.com for short runs but go elsewhere for litho. Expand your litho product range and I'll be using you for everything!
