App of the Week: National Rail Enquiries

Traveling can be tiring at the best of times, but when it’s for business it seems even more so with added pressure to arrive a certain place on time. Anything that makes travelling simpler has to help, right?

Well the National Rail Enquiries app, is definitely a must have if you’re traveling by train. The app allows you to access National Rail Enquiries websites most popular tools, the saviour being the real time journey planner- allowing you to plan your journey on current train times.

Features of the App include:

-Push notifications, which will alert you of any disruptions.

-Wake up alerts, avoid missing your station.

-Live trains, view real time departures and arrival boards at any station.

-Progress tracking, track a train all through its journey.

-Watch a train, pin a train to My Travel to watch its progress with a single tap.

-Tube and DLR, plan your journey to the train station.

This app is great if you’re traveling or waiting for someone to arrive at work or home.

Any downsides?

We think not.

The National Rail Enquiries app is available on Android and iPhone for free  unless you want an ad free version.
