How to prepare your online shop for Christmas

It’s approaching the most wonderful time of the year, where gift buying and mince pie eating appears on everyone’s to-do list. One thing that’s appeared on my to-do list has been making sure my Christmas cards and festive gift tags are available in my shop and that I’m busy promoting them on social media.

I’m a UK based graphic designer and both my Eat Drink & Be Merry designed cards and matching gift tags are printed on thick, white recycled card by printed.com. The quality of them is great and the gift tags especially are very popular with customers—so much so, that I sold out of them last year. They arrive as business cards from printed.com then I add the holes and green and white baker’s twine to turn them into gift tags.

The hand-cut recycled paper Christmas cards, Robin and Mittens have been added to my shop over the last two weeks. I use junk mail, found and scrap papers to hand-cut these designs and each one is unique. The hand-cut cards can also double up as small artworks and look as good on the mantelpiece as they do in a frame.

As well as the specifically festive products, the recycled prints, card box sets and screen printed tea towels make great gifts, and the Thank You postcards can be given in January to generous friends and family.

You can find my shop here— have a very merry Christmas!
