Friday's Favourites

This Friday, we have nine brilliant creations for the ninth day of the ninth month!  So cosy up for a good nose, as we bring you beautiful business cards, stunning stationery, gorgeous greeting cards and perfect postcards by the people that truly make printed.com come to life – you!

Stationery collection by Peony & Lace

Well worth an Internet stalk if you like the look for pretty paper goods, Owner Rachel Smith really knows her stuff when it comes to beautiful wedding and occasion stationery, as well as customised prints and greeting cards. We love the air of grace and romance Rachel creates through her floral accents and calligraphic fonts. Based in the south Oxfordshire countryside, Peony & Lace has been featured in high profile bridal magazines, such as Wedding Flowers, and also featured on the blog Your Secret Wedding.

Postcards by Ginger Is The New Black

Based in London, graphic designer and illustrator Ellie has just launched Ginger Is The New Black, a fun and quirky stationery brand that in her words, is a little bit different when it comes to wedding invites. Using current trends, places and themes around her, Ellie has already made a big impression on us and we’re really excited to keep an eye out for her work.

Business cards by Good Egg

The lovely Nancy of Aligned Design Co. is behind these beauties, and we get really excited when people show off their velvet laminated business cards. If you’ve ever felt one, you’ll know why! Soft soft soft! Nancy is based in Malvern, Worcestershire, and has worked in a variety of creative fields, including event management, publishing and marketing; but her favourite above all has been designing.

Postcards by Emma Knitted

Britain’s Next Top Knitwear Designer 2014, we are very excited to have knitting royalty Emma Wright as one of our customers. Her postcards she designed and printed through us are super cute and really show off her woolly adventures! It’s crazy to think she only graduated two years ago when you look at the body of her work. Keep an eye out for her creations in major knit and crochet magazines on your newsstands.

Invitations by Phil Designs

Belfast based Phil is a freelance graphic designer and has more than 15 years’ experience. What we like about Phil (apart from being a lovely customer) is that he offers really affordable creative design solutions. We are fans of his modern take on the birthday invite, and we are keeping a look out for his cocker spaniel – come on Phil Instagram a picture for us please?!

There’s a few narwhale fans in the printed.com office, which is probably we seriously heart Dani Williams and her work. Focusing on mixed media illustrations, her squirrel and sprouts greeting card is an early Christmas must-have purchase.
