Friday's Favourites

It’s Friday! And that’s right, it’s the last one of the month. Cheeky September squeezed five Fridays in so you lucky souls get to nose at other people’s work an extra time. We are far too good to you we know!

Warning: pretty pictures below!

Prints by Sue Ann Simon Photography

Sue Ann sure knows a thing or two about marketing herself through social media! The Trinidadian photographer who’s based in the West Midlands is attending The National Wedding Show Birmingham (we visited the London version last week and wrote a very nice blog on the stationery trends on show there), and still managed time to send us pictures of her gorgeous stand, including images of prints by us. With a photography style of documentary, fun, creative and editorial, we are sure Sue Ann will have potential clients queuing up to visit her stand this weekend.

Christmas cards by Bird House Press

We just launched our printed.com Christmas shop and some of you early birds (actually it’s nearly October so not so early!) such as Bird House Press have been busy getting ready for the festive season. Rachel McGreal is the brains and brawn behind this quirky and cool studio, and we cannot get enough of her fantastic designs. Currently there is a fight in the office over whether the red robin or Christmas pudding card is cuter. Help us decide!

Stickers by A W Photography

Now this a logo we love! Amy Woodham printed some super pretty stickers with us (by the way, we launched clear stickers a few days if anyone is interested) which complements her gorgeous website and photography skills. Amy is all about happiness and capturing that happy moment – quite frankly Northamptonshire where she is based must be a more positive place because of her wonderful attitude. Check her website out for beautiful photos, great life mantra, and some of Amy’s favourite things.

Save the dates by Wonderland Invites

It wouldn’t be a Friday without some wedding stationery neatly placed in this blog. Jenna of Wonderland Invites is a great buddie of ours, and we are so happy she chose us to print her chic travel-themed save the dates. Perfect for destination weddings or couples with a love for exploring, Jenna once again nails stationery design - we love the vintage vibes! We’re thinking of stealing Jenna and making her create all our work here (shush don’t tell her)!

Invites by Wedfest

Continuing the wedding theme is Wedfest. No this isn’t an awesome festival where you can go get married (great idea though right – Dragon’s Den anyone?), but an amazing wedding stationer ran by designer Marty McColgan based in Belfast. Describing themselves as not your average wedding stationer, this is the place to go to for something alternative for a wedding. Marty manages to make every wedding look like the party of the century, and we want an invite!

Northampton boutique creative design agency Boilerhouse Creative created these lovely promotional flyers for their client The Roastery. Well, they certainly worked as we are in need of a coffee now! If you love flora and fauna, their website is a real treat of graphical bugs and bees.

Greetings card by Clio Isadora Delcour-Min

London based illustrator Clio Isadora creates the most relatable, humbling and funny illustrations. A graphic design graduate from Central Saint Martins, Clio is a comic fan and manages to emulate this in her work. If you’re after illustrations that are quirky, cool and very much real, give her a look.

Print & postcards by Heather Meyerratken

London based Aussie artist Heather Meyerratken is a busy bee with her solo show ‘Showoffs’ running at the Lilford gallery in Canterbury until 7th October. She cleverly prints on steel mesh for many of her works, and has used us for promotional postcards for her pieces. Make sure you pop along and see her show.
