We are doubly excited this Friday, and that’s because we had so many of you lovely customers get in touch this week that we had to extend the feature to nine customer creations! Thank you to everyone for all your love on social media and keep sending them in. Nothing makes us prouder than seeing and showing off your fantastic work and creative dreams! Keep crafting!
Mancunian illustrator and maker Amy Victoria Marsh has been busy creating her range of rather swish pins. Modern but retro, kitsch but cool, we love Amy’s use of a fresh colour palette. The backs her pins are placed on are all from printed.com and each one is carefully designed for the pin style. We cannot get enough of sushi lady!
We went dotty for Sam’s designs. Her modern and simple save the dates are perfect examples of strong lettering with little extra touches, and we love the tongue-in-cheek message. We predict it will be a fun wedding! Sam is based in Walsall and is a big lover of pens and typography – can you tell?!
Paper Soul Design is all about bringing a modern edge to traditional wedding stationery. Based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, the geometric and infographic elements, combined with cool typography and fresh colour schemes makes Paper Soul Design really stand out in the wedding stationery space. These contemporary chaps are certainly one to consider when looking for inspiration with a difference.
Meg Cowley is a seriously busy woman. Colouring book creator and writer of fantasy and children’s fiction, she’s also been working on a greeting card range too! With an awesome Twitter bio, two pet cats (Jet and Pixie), and a lover of pizza and tea, she’s just someone we want to be mates with! Plus her illustrations are pretty wicked!
Warning: James Carless and his designs induces childlike smiles to all that view his work. He literally turns food into characters, and there’s nothing printed.com loves more than food and stationery. James is hilarious – our favourite is probably his cracked egg (Did he fall or was he pushed? You decide). We predict big things for his Etsy shop!
If you like Disney, you are going to like Michelle Venn’s creations. Another busy bee, working as a graphic designer, artist, and published author, Michelle has been turning her beautiful paintings into greeting cards. Michelle was very kind and said how great the pearlescent paper stock is – we are just dying to see one of these prints in person.
Katie Szadziewska, founder of this bespoke stationery company sure knows a thing or two about designing wedding stationery. Based in London, she created this wedding stationery set, complete with rustic hand-drawn wreaths. If you’re after inspiration, visit her Instagram for sorbet, pastel and floral ideas.
Sue Brown is a lettering, calligraphy and watercolour master. She is so passionate about creativity and the arts, and also has a fantastic blog showcasing her wonderful work. When she showed us her fruit and flowers concept, we couldn’t get enough. If you like pretty flowers, zesty colours and passionate designs, you must check out Sue’s website.
We’ve featured Tilly Fudge once or twice before, and we are delighted to have Vicky Bell’s gorgeous business cards on the blog. Vicky established the business in 2013 after creating stationery for herself, family and friends. Based in Chesterfield, she always nails the careful balance of sweet but modern, as you can tell from her business cards.
