Friday 13th: Did you know? celebrates Friday 13th

In Spanish-speaking countries, instead of Friday, Tuesday the 13th is considered a day of bad luck.

In numerology 12 often signifies completeness – e.g. months of the year and hours in the day. 13 signifies irregularity and unevenness and as a result, carries negative connotations.

It is believed by some that having 13 people at a table will result in the death of one guest. This stems from the Last Supper.

Many streets and seats on public transport miss out the number 13 as it is considered unlucky.

A black cat crossing your path is also considered unlucky (hence the logo).

If you place 13 orders with today you will avoid all bad luck for the rest of the year (I joke. Obviously. Maybe do it anyway, just to be sure?).
